I'm thrilled my work has been shortlisted SAA Artist of the Year 2026!

It’s a really special piece for me, not only does it reflect a lovely moment I shared with my son but this painterly silkscreen print was created using my own natural, plastic free silkscreen ink.

My son and I were captivated by these large Koi Carp bustling and swimming. I sought to try and capture the sense of awe and connection we felt in that moment.

The transparent, watercolour like qualities of the image are achieved using a natural, biodegradable and acrylic-free medium for silkscreen printing that I have researched, developed and produced myself. Combined with fine archival artist pigments, this creates richly coloured inks with a distinctive depth and luminosity.

It’s been just over a week since Coughton Collective packed up our wonderful exhibition Coughton Court.

Such wonderful conversations, thank you to everyone who visited, your support was amazing.

If I stopped talking - I was making ! You might have caught me drawing the shells I collected on our recent trip to East Neuk, Scotland. During my time Coughton Court I made by hand a silkscreen with four separate colour layers and printed this first limpet shell whilst at the Church!

I made this small, limited edition of Tetra Pak Drypoint prints in response to theme this year ‘Home is where the heart is’.

I have donated 6 of these to the charity to sell and raise money for and Centrepoint.

“Edible Rotherhithe is a community food growing, gardening and arts charity based in Southwark, London.”

"Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, supporting almost 14,000 young people aged 16–25 every year, across 60 services in London, Yorkshire, Manchester and the North East of England. They provide accommodation, health support and life skills to get homeless young people back into education, training and employment."

Hand finishing this Mokulito print feels such a lovely change of pace to my usual physical making!

My zen state was shattered along with the glass framing it though !

Onwards


Mokulito is a lithography technique which uses wood instead of limestone as the plate.


I bought this lovely bowl is from Crail Pottery in May. I’m not sure what it is made for but when I saw it I just knew it was perfect for my brushes and ink drawing!
