Hand finishing this Mokulito print feels such a lovely change of pace to my usual physical making!

My zen state was shattered along with the glass framing it though !

Mokulito is a lithography technique which uses wood instead of limestone as the plate.

I bought this lovely bowl is from Crail Pottery in May. I’m not sure what it is made for but when I saw it I just knew it was perfect for my brushes and ink drawing!

From pulp to print !

Trying out my newly handmade papers using an old favourite Linocut.

I made one paper thicker and I left its natural texture - this is excellent for printing on the press. The other I made smooth and thin for hand burnishing with my glass baren. Can you tell which is which?
