The hollyhocks took a bit of a battering from the heatwaves here but despite this were still full of beauty. Fewer flowers but a joy to work with, all the same. These works have been in process over the last month, gradually taking shape.

A few more new florals from the garden.

New florals. I’ve been thinking about doing these for ages.
I love the current sunshine and bright skies but have really enjoyed escaping into some of the darker tones in these.

I’m delighted to be at Wren Hall until Saturday as part of Warwickshire Open Studios. It’s exciting to be presenting new work and getting the chance to talk to lovely visitors and artists about all things art, specially after a year out due to health issues. Looking forward to a fabulous weekend! ☀️☀️☀️

My first time back in the studio after finishing my MA. Lots of drawing, messing about with materials and some playing about with sculpture. The hours have flown by and it’s been great getting back to experimenting.
