I’ve made a film of my MA exhibition Shared Ground to bring together the elements of last weekend’s installation in five minutes. I hope it conveys some of the feel of the work. I’d love to hear your thoughts xx

My MA Fine Art public facing outcome opens tomorrow. It’s been a journey! Not always straightforward, and this week has certainly had its share of surprises and vintage tech breakdowns… Still, it’s all good and nearly everything is ready.
are a few teaser pics of the venue and some of the elements of the installation. Now I’m just waiting on one more Amazon delivery and then I can relax!

I’m exhibiting at St Peter’s Church in Pebworth next weekend to celebrate my final MA Fine Art project. I’ve been studying with Falmouth University online and it’s been the best experience. Would highly recommend!

I’d love it if you were able to come along. It’s free entry and I’m having drinks on Saturday from 5pm that you’re most welcome to join me for.

The work is an exploration of the history and stories of our rural footpaths through drawing, sound and photography. The church is on an ancient ley line and an Angle Saxon route and is the perfect space (and so beautiful) for the project to conclude in.

If you need any more info, please dm me. I hope you can make it x

I’m taking part in the Secret Studio Sale tomorrow! I can’t wait, this is always such a brilliant event to be part of and to visit 🤩
I’m bringing paintings and prints with 70% off and also lots of unused art materials and art books. I don’t usually discount so heavily but am funding my MA final show so grab them while you can!
Hope to see you there 😀😀😀

Double exposures, woodland and abstract landscape paintings. My final set of slides for part of my MA installation in March. It’s all feeling very real and scary now!

I’ve been using my abstract paintings of local paths and creating a double exposure image with photos of the same area. My final show for my BA in Fine Art was mostly photography and my MA has sent me back towards it. It’s great to bring old and new together.

Some of the combinations have given the trees a really uncanny look I think.

It’s so interesting to see how different the paintings and the photos make each other. Loving the experimenting!

I posted the first of these two paintings last week and realised that I hadn’t shared the second, so here it is and here they are together. Moving water, flooding, close landscapes.

They’re off for framing now but will be at Discover Gather Give Contemporary Art Fair in Stratford 15th, 16th, 17th November.

More new stuff: a diptych inspired by the mix of leaves and flooding I’ve seen recently on the fields where I walk (wade with) Norman.
Small views, looking down on the ground below.

New work, one of a pair, looking at local flooded landscapes that are so common around us at the minute.
