A Suffolk arts festival bringing artists, makers and the community together to celebrate creativity.

Some causes are chosen because they align with an event.

Some are chosen because they are part of your story.

For me, Suffolk Owl Sanctuary is the latter.

Long before Sakura Studio Gallery existed, before Boundless Creativity was even an idea, Suffolk Owl Sanctuary was a place I visited as a child. It's a place where I learned, explored, and developed a love for nature and photography. Today, it's somewhere my own children get to experience and enjoy as they grow up.

For over 25 years, Suffolk Owl Sanctuary has been caring for wildlife, supporting conservation, providing education, and rehabilitating birds of prey here in the heart of Suffolk. Their work has touched countless lives — both human and animal.

That's why I'm proud that one of this year's Art for Good community projects will support Suffolk Owl Sanctuary.

Visitors will have the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative artwork during the festival, helping celebrate and raise awareness for an organisation that means so much to so many people across our county.

The sanctuary team will also be joining us on the day with an educational touch table, giving visitors the chance to learn more about the incredible work they do.

Sometimes creativity can do more than bring people together.

Sometimes it can help celebrate the places that helped shape us.

🎨 Young Artists Showcase 2026 – Applications Close 20th June 🎨

With just two weeks remaining to apply, I'm delighted to share a small preview of some of the artwork already submitted to this year's Young Artists Showcase as part of BOUNDLESS Creativity

From colourful childhood imagination to emerging artistic practice, the showcase is already bringing together young creatives from across multiple age categories, celebrating creativity, self-expression, and artistic growth.

The Young Artists Showcase is open to artists aged 3–21 and offers an opportunity to have work displayed as part of Boundless Creativity 2026 at Stonham Barns Park on Sunday 19th July.

Selected works will also be considered for professional printing and gallery-style display with the support of our showcase co-sponsor, MYPICTURE.co.uk

Whether you're a parent of a young creative, a student developing your artistic voice, or an emerging artist building your portfolio, we'd love to hear from you.

✨ Guest Speaker Spotlight ✨

We’re delighted to welcome Rachel Duffield Art of Community Art Clubs CIC to BOUNDLESS Creativity as one of our guest speakers.

Rachel will be exploring the wellbeing benefits of creativity and the positive impact that accessible community art spaces can have on confidence, connection, emotional wellbeing, and everyday life.

Alongside her talk, visitors will also be invited to take part in a simple creative activity while listening — encouraging gentle participation, reflection, and hands-on engagement throughout the session.

At Boundless Creativity, we’re passionate about celebrating not only creativity itself, but also the ways art can support wellbeing, community connection, self-expression, and personal growth. Rachel’s work through Community Art Clubs CIC beautifully reflects those values, and we’re so pleased to have her involved in this year’s festival.

We’re really looking forward to hearing Rachel speak and sharing the importance of accessible creativity within our communities 🌸

There is now just 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓 to apply for the BOUNDLESS Creativity Young Artists Showcase!

Created for young creatives aged approximately 𝟑 to𝟐𝟏 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, this showcase is all about encouraging creativity, building confidence, and giving young artists the opportunity to have their work displayed as part of a large community arts festival at Stonham Barns Park

Whether it’s:
✨ drawing ✨ painting ✨ sculpture ✨ mixed media ✨ textiles ✨ digital art ✨ photography ✨ or something completely unique..we would love to see what young artists are creating.

We’re also incredibly grateful to MYPICTURE.co.uk for supporting the Young Artists Showcase by cosponsoring this part of the festival and offering free printing for selected artists, helping young creatives see their work professionally presented as part of the exhibition.

We know sharing creative work can feel daunting, especially for emerging artists, but this showcase is intended to be welcoming, supportive, and accessible to creatives of all experience levels.

✨ Activity Spotlight – Fable & Fibre Co ✨

We’re so excited to welcome Lucy of Fable and Fibre to BOUNDLESS Creativity with a truly beautiful concept centred around community, slow craft, and connection.

Through her new venture, Fable & Fibre Co, Lucy is creating a gentle “Resting Place” within the festival — a calm and welcoming space where visitors can pause, breathe, craft, and connect away from the bustle of the day.

Rather than a traditional retail stall, this space will invite festival goers to sit awhile, take part in mindful hands-on activities, and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of slow creativity.

Throughout the day, visitors will be able to contribute to a collaborative Viking Lucet cord — using an ancient cord-making tool to help create one long community-made piece together and seeing just how long it grows by the end of the festival.

Children will also be invited to create their own “Wish Thread” bracelet to take home - a small handmade keepsake symbolising intentions, creativity, and imagination.

We absolutely love the thoughtfulness behind this space and the way it reflects the heart of what Boundless Creativity is all about: participation, connection, creativity, and community 🌿

🧶 We’re very happy to welcome Knotique to BOUNDLESS Creativity😊

Knotique creates a lovely range of handmade crochet goodies and toys, bringing plenty of colour, character, and creativity to their work. It’s always wonderful to include makers who put such care into handcrafted pieces, and we’re looking forward to having them as part of the festival.

Boundless Creativity is all about celebrating creative expression in all its forms - from art and wellbeing to textiles, handmade crafts, performance, and community connection - and Knotique’s work will make a lovely addition to the day.

One of the things that sits at the very heart of BOUNDLESS Creativity is the belief that creativity should be accessible to everyone.

This year, we are really proud to be supporting Suffolk Sight CIO, a local charity that works to support people living with sight loss across Suffolk, helping people to maintain independence, confidence, and connection within their communities.

Their work feels especially important to us because creativity isn’t just about what we see - it’s about what we experience, feel, and share.
Making creative spaces more inclusive is something we care deeply about, and something we want to continue learning about and building into everything we do.

As part of the festival, one of our three community art pieces will be created to support what they do, and we’ll be inviting everyone attending to contribute in their own way on the day.

✨ Open to all ages and abilities
✨ A shared creative space for everyone

Whether you come as a visitor or take part in the artwork itself, you’ll be helping to create something that celebrates inclusion, creativity, and community.
