Songwriters Circle is back at An Lanntair tomorrow night after taking a break in August. New faces always welcome. Doesn't matter if you've never written or performed a song before, most of us don't know what we're doing either. Come along and meet some kindred supportive spirits. If it's up to me we'll probably be spending much of the time talking about what an incredible songwriter Dolly Parton was (it might not be up to me).

PS: if you're reading this post you might also be interested to know that Wee Studio and Climate Hebrides are running a songwriting competition, inviting island songwriters to submit a climate-themed song. Prize includes recording time at Wee Studio. Deadline is 12 September.
