🎭 Phoenix Theatre’s Youth Sections take to An Lanntair's stage once again for a trip down the rabbit hole! A feast of three one act plays to delight and fascinate.

Join the Seniors as they bring the classic tale of Alice to life in a one-act adaptation of the famous novel by Lewis Carroll. 🐇☕🎩

Alice follows the white rabbit down the rabbit hole into Wonderland, where she meets a cornucopia of strange creatures. A caterpillar gives advice, the Mad Hatter and March Hare are always at tea time, and the Queen of Hearts continually cries, “Off with her head!” The Cheshire Cat says everyone in Wonderland is mad, and therefore Alice must be too. Has Alice lost her head? Only the Cheshire Cat knows for sure.

Then, staying in the magical realm of Wonderland, the Junior section will display a modern interpretation of Lewis Carroll’s famous poem, The Jabberwocky – with a few liberties taken – to produce a riotous and very moral tale.

Finally, and straying from the theme, Sara enjoys the ritual of making and drinking tea. Maybe she enjoys it a little too much. Sara pays Empy to join her at a tea party. Empy is eager to make a quick buck. But what are Sara’s motives? What about the bones in the black box? And what exactly is in the tea? Find out when the over 16s of the Senior Section provide a short and thought provoking finale performing Camel Dung and Cloves by Lindsay Price.

It's Festival time!!! On Fri 27th & Sat 28th February, 2 teams from the Lochcarron Drama Club will be taking part in the One-Act Play Festival at Plockton High School.

Please come alog and support us!! Doors at 6.30, show starts at 7pm - cash on the door preferred. There will also be a raffle and refreshments! Tickets £12, or £20 for both nights.

Happy New Year!

We will be having our first Members Meeting of the year this coming Tuesday 6th January at 7pm in the Workshop on New Street.

At this meeting we will be showing the first screening of our recent panto Robin Hood!

We will also be ratifying the constitution. If you are a member and have not received a copy to review please let us know and we can forward it to you.
