A wee flashback to the keepsake dog that gave me the idea to start my little hobby of creating keepsake teddies. I made this dog from clothes that belonged to my much missed mother in law. I made it as a Christmas present for my daughter. The dog is created from the clothes my mother in law wore when we had a special day with her while on holiday in Lancashire. After I had gifted it people started saying I should be making these to sell - Sentimental Threads was born.

When Gordon the city of Aberdeen pipe band mascot went pumpkin picking at Easter anguston farm (VAS) at peterculter he had great time. He was busy taking part in the Halloween trail, checking out all the animals and had a wee play in the park. It was a great morning and he highly recommends going to visit the park. It also has a lovely cafe and all the staff are very invested in the farm. They also have a dog field for all the dog owners.

Gordon is the mascot for the city of Aberdeen pipe band. This week he’s been out and about in Aberdeen. Johnston gardens is a very pretty park great for a wee wander with kids and dogs.
The Gordon highlanders museum is a great day out. I highly recommend going for a visit and they have a lovely cafe with delicious tray baked ❤️

This is a very handsome dog I created last year. He was made mostly from one tee shirt with an extra tee shirt used for the muzzle. So if you don’t have many items of clothing or you have that special one I can still create something for you to treasure forever.

These 2 beautiful bears went home this week. They were created for 2 grandchildren who lost their Nana far too soon 💔. She was a lady who always loved to wear denim and looking smart. I embroidered the eyes on these bears and I love the blue eyes. I placed the denim pockets from a favourite dress on the back of these bears so they can be used to save letters the children might want to write to Nana. Hopefully they will bring some comfort and preserve special memories of a much missed special lady.
I am always grateful when people choose me to create something so special.
