Theatre1 Our mission is to produce high quality contemporary
musical theatre and to be a champion of new and non-
mainstream work.

Our mission is to produce high quality off-Broadway and off-West End theatre not often produced, blurring the lines between professional and amateur theatre to the highest standards possible. Established in 2014, Theatre1 formed to bridge the gap
between youth theatre and adult societies. With a vision
for creating highly physical, complex musical works, our
style attracts aspiring professionals,

drama school
students and recent graduates, along with dedicated
amateur performers. Principally working in Stafford and the surrounding area,
we produce work most often for studio theatre spaces in a
contemporary ensemble style. Our programme features
highly acclaimed contemporary work, much of which enjoyed
successful runs in off-Broadway and off-West End venues.

Occasionally a story really touches you. We love musical theatre that tells us something about people - that shows through beautiful musical storytelling something about ourselves.

But this one is profound because it’s a real story. We’re not just inviting you to think What/If, or consider the inter-relatedness of things.

We want to tell for you the story of Henry Fraser.

This is a story of human courage and strength - to learn to “accept and adapt”. But also the importance of community and even the bonds that team sport can bring.

Beyond proud of what we achieved last week. Thank you to all the volunteers at Crown Wharf Theatre Stone as well as Five Towns Theatre and Sean Ayrden for sound and lights.
