Little Brushes

Little Brushes The aim of Little Brushes is to be creative, have a go and have fun . Little Brushes began in 2018 offering art classes and workshops to children aged 5-12.

Sara Lusvardi has a degree in Textile design and has worked in different design studios in Como, Italy and Monterey, USA. She now lives in North Yorkshire teaching both children and adult art workshops and also works in a primary school. Sara has taught at the Saturday kids art club at The Northern School of Art, Middlesbrough. The workshops are based around a chosen theme where the children get t

o explore various medium and create original art and craft pieces. The sessions are usually a full morning or afternoon, in a friendly, safe and fun environment. Sara loves to inspire children with her passion for all things arty and allows them to use their creativity in a positive and productive way. Sara and her staff are all qualified with DBS checks.

These were our fishy creations from the Kirkby & Great Broughton School workshop.
⭐️First we painted some background papers with textures.
⭐️Then we cut out our fish shapes out and drew with pencil lots of patterns.
⭐️Lastly using printing block inks and rollers we printed on our coloured papers.
All tied up with string and beads to make these fab mobiles.
