Dragonflies have flown for millions of years.
Combine that with an ancient craft and you’ve got something quite special.

A dragonfly needs external heat to survive and to fly - it will take the time to bask in the sun and gather the energy that it needs. Perhaps your dragonfly, perched in your garden, can be the perfect reminder to pause and be restored.

Take the time to really appreciate seasonal foliage and its remarkable textures as as you peruse and gather botanical material on our beautiful woodland site before creating your clay mould.

No experience is needed and all materials and equipment will be provided.

There are a few spaces left if you’d like to join us for a hands-on, creative workshop this Saturday.

Stotts Nursery owner, Billy, will teach you about the types of willow and then, with his guidance, you’ll try your hand at the traditional craft of willow weaving.

Take home a beautiful focal point for your garden whether you opt to give our obelisk or dragonfly workshop a whirl. Your garden obelisk will provide excellent support for your plants, flowers and vegetables for years to come.
