I cant believe it was a year ago today that I had my last chemo, unfortunately followed by covid 2 days later. I didn't think I would be painting again but I am, and now looking forward to showing some of my art at Leek Show on 29th July, last show was 2019. I am therefore in painting mode, in between watching Wimbledon, and here are a couple of new art pieces. I hope to see some familiar faces there it's been too long.

First painting in over a year due to illness. I was asked to do a pet portrait of Rio, who ironically also has Lymphoma. It was very therapeutic to be painting again, I just did it when I felt well enough. Rio's owners loved it.

For those who have been checking my art work out, I feel I should update my situation. I am unable to do any work at the moment due to illness. Hopefully some time in the future, when chemo etc finishes, I will feel fit enough to pick up my brushes again. Thanks for the interest in my work. Ei X

Well fingers crossed, Leek Show is on for Saturday 31st July. I have booked my stall, but let's hope covid doesn't spoil this event. 2019 was dreadful, torrential rain all day, 2020 well we all know what that was like. I am getting back into my artwork after 18 months off due to arthritis and unfortunately Bob and I getting Covid at the end of January. I had my hip replacement operation 7 weeks ago so hopefully I may start to feel a bit better. I have been working on a few different paintings, especially of hares.

I was asked to do a caricature painting of 2 cats, based on a picture I had done previously, I worked from photos. I love doing caricatures such fun. The client loved it.

"Watching" has gone to America to be auctioned off in the Wildlife SOS charity auction, hope it raises some money for them, they do wonderful work.
