✨ We’re hiring: Freelance Client Development & Partnerships Coordinator
📍 Remote, with occasional opportunities to work from our Stoke-on-Trent studio
⏱ Approx. 8 hours per week
💷 £20 per hour, plus meeting bonuses and commission
📅 Initial 12-week freelance pilot
Valcato is a creatively driven production company working across live events, touring entertainment, video content and branded experiences throughout the UK and Europe.
We’re looking for someone to help us build a focused, sustainable client-development pipeline by identifying organisations we would genuinely work well with, starting thoughtful conversations and keeping promising opportunities moving.
This is not commission-only telesales, and we are not interested in mass, generic outreach.
The role will include:
• Researching suitable organisations and decision-makers
• Writing personalised introductory emails and LinkedIn messages
• Following up consistently by email, LinkedIn and, where appropriate, telephone
• Re-engaging previous clients and dormant contacts
• Identifying partnerships, tenders and supplier opportunities
• Maintaining accurate records in Pipedrive
• Booking qualified introductory meetings
• Providing a concise weekly update on activity and opportunities
You may have experience in business development, partnerships, account management, agency outreach, events or the wider creative industries. More important than a particular job title is your judgement, curiosity and ability to communicate naturally.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, self-directed, commercially aware and confident starting conversations without becoming pushy. You should value relevance over volume and understand that good business development begins with genuine interest—not a copied-and-pasted sales pitch.
The offer:
• 12-week freelance pilot
• Approx. 8 hours per week at £20 per hour
• £50 for each qualified introductory meeting
• 2% commission on the first completed project from any new account you originate
• Flexible, primarily remote working
• Potential to become an ongoing and expanded role
