Made in Staffordshire "I am a 21 year old designer/maker from Longsdon near Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

I studied at Leek College of Art although at that time, photography was my main interest. I have had photos published in several national magazines. After leaving college and not convinced that I should go straight to University, I spent some time working in the studio with my dad, ceramic artist Tony Laverick. I began using porcelain to experiment and put some of my ideas into practice. The butt

ons came about almost by accident as a result of some glaze tests and have now developed into a successful range stocked by galleries and used by leading fashion and textile artists.
