Alrighty then thrill seekers, a massive Bank Holiday weekend is fast approaching! There’s stuff going on everywhere!
Substitute DJ’s are involved in the warm up for the much hyped Craig Charles gig at Keele Uni! The hardest working man on the radio, brings his Funk & Soul show to the students on Saturday 2nd. It’s an early start for us, and tickets are still available for this one.

Sunday 3rd sees the return of Golden Classics to The Underground, up Hanley duck,
Me & Nick are on warm up duties for none other than Alistair Whitehead, and Russ & Paul from K Klass. These stadium filling selectors join our Pete, in a compact venue, with a massive sound system, purely and simply because they say that the Golden Classics nights are amongst the very best in the country! Their words, not mine!
But these gigs really are my favourite nights of the year, as close as you can get to actually being there, back in the day!

We are also continuing the quest to paint a commemorative music themed wall mural, up Hanley. Me & Phil will be drumming up support on Radio Stoke at 7:50am Monday morning, and again on The Hit Mix, on Thursday morning, with the inimitable Colin Curtis. Any support you can give for this is much appreciated. We’re saving the memories for music lovers from the past 60 years or so…..
