Look at what’s happening in Stoke and surrounding areas in the next few weeks. Not to mention weekly WIPs, the Spitroasts are back and the Spitfire Awards.

Spitfire is so proud to say that we hand pick our talent from our pool of comedians from the local circuit as well professional comedians from the biggest clubs in the UK.

And we love to working with some fantastic venues in and around Stoke on Trent.

We offer -

WIPs for acts looking to take their show on tour or to a festival or fringe.

Monthly Pro Nights with some major talent (previous acts have included Nina Gilligan, Dan Nightingale, Rob Mulholland, Danny McLoughlin, Aurie Styla etc)

We are also being including in some tour dates which we will be able to share very soon.

And if that’s isn’t enough, we are also looking at expanding into workshops, masterclasses etc

We are always on the look out for new comedians on our Spitfire Open Mic stage so we can see first hand who is ready to be added to our pool and move on to our progression spots on our pro night. This includes Character acts and Musical acts.

New MCs for all events.

New venues who are looking to raise their entertainment game. Varied formats and budgets tbc.

New ideas to help Spitfire expand and grow into the number one for all things comedy in Staffordshire.

As always we hate doing this but Spitfire will be closed on the 1st and 8th of September due to various factors. But from the 15th we have WIPs each week.
15th - Dawn Bailey and Anthony Williams
22nd - Ashley Frieze
29th - Ryan Woods
We then have a month of Roast Battles. 3 pairs each week with a special Roast the Hosts special on the last week (posters and details to follow)
And as we get closer to Christmas we will be announcing the categories for the 3rd annual Spitfire Awards with some new additions.

If anyone wants a 5-10 minute spot, ask about doing a WIP starting November or even MC any Tuesday, give us a shout

We’re really pleased to announce that Spitfire Comedy is now a member of Get Off Live Comedy. ❤️

Get Off Live Comedy is an independent and confidential HR support service working to tackle sexual harassment within the live comedy industry and make the circuit a safer place for everyone.

As members, we have access to specialist HR resources, support and training to help us prevent and appropriately deal with harassment.

Comedy can be edgy. Comedy can push boundaries. But everyone should feel safe doing it.

We want Spitfire to be a place where new and experienced comedians alike can get on stage, develop their material, meet other comics and feel supported.

So we’re incredibly proud to be part of an industry-wide commitment to making live comedy safer, better and more accountable.
