💜 NEXT TO NORMAL… THAT’S A WRAP. 💜
Well… the final curtain has come down. 😭
And honestly… what a bloody journey this has been.
The laughter. The tears. The stress. The exhaustion. The ridiculous backstage moments 😂 And then standing there tonight watching this incredible cast give absolutely EVERYTHING.
It’s been worth every second. 🥹💜
To our cast… WOW.
You’ve been vulnerable, honest, funny, heartbreaking and completely fearless.
You’ve taken some incredibly difficult moments and turned them into something audiences have connected with night after night.
💜“I don’t need a life that’s normal.”💜
And maybe that’s exactly what this show has reminded us of.
We don’t need perfect.
We just need real. ❤️
We’ve watched friendships grow, confidence grow and an incredible group of people become a little family along the way. 🫶🏻
And then there’s our audiences… 🥹
Every laugh.
Every silence.
Every tear.
Every standing ovation.
Every message telling us that something in the show hit home.
That’s why we do this. 🎭💜
Sometimes theatre isn’t about making people happy.
Sometimes it’s about making people feel something.
And if Next to Normal made you feel something… then we’ve done exactly what we set out to do. 💜
To everyone who bought a ticket, shared a post, told a friend, came to see us, came back for another show or supported us from afar…
THANK YOU. 🥹💜
We genuinely cannot thank you enough.
We’ll remember the rehearsals.
The chaos.
The tears.
The laughs.
The hugs after shows.
The nerves before curtain up.
And that moment when you realise…
WE ACTUALLY DID IT. 😭
“Every day is different.”
And tonight definitely feels different.
Next to Normal has been one hell of a ride, and we are SO proud of what we created. 💜
So for the final time…
🎭 NEXT TO NORMAL 🎭
Thank you for letting us tell this story.
Thank you for listening.
Thank you for feeling it with us.
And thank you for being part of our little bit of “normal”. 🥹💜
