🧡 What a weekend! 🧡

What a wonderful Six Town Sound retreat we’ve had! 💜

From Friday night fireworks and cheese 🧀🎆 to fantastic coaching with our multi-talented music team, home bakes galore 🍰, and plenty of retreat showcase shenanigans… it had everything!

A special shout-out to Jane for our wonderful pirate ship 🏴‍☠️ and to Laura, who brought karaoke along and gave us the perfect way to finish Saturday night! 🎤😂

And a big WELCOME TO RETREAT LIFE to our first-timers: Julia, Christie, Tracy, Bilbo, Gemma, Doodles, Amanda and Laura! 🎉 You were all totally amazing and totally embraced the work hard, play hard mantra!🤩

Lots of singing, laughter, learning, friendship and probably not quite enough sleep! ❤️

We are so looking forward to sharing our music at our show on October 3rd in Longton and then heading to the LABBS 50th Convention in Harrogate at the end of October! 🎶🎉

🎉 50 YEARS OF LABBS
CELEBRATING OUR SINGERS! 🎶

As LABBS celebrates 50 fabulous years, we’re continuing our Six Town Sound journey by celebrating the incredible barbershop stories within our chorus. ❤️🎵

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on some of our singers and the amazing journeys that brought them to Six Town Sound!

🌟 Hannah started barbershop in 2009 with the Harmunichs in Germany after moving there and looking for a hobby. Little did she know it would change her life! She met her husband when he came to coach the chorus, and they now have a beautiful daughter, Izzy, who sings with the Youth Chorus — making her a 3rd generation barbershopper! 🥰

Over 17 years, Hannah has sung with the White Rosettes and enjoyed a fabulous (and medal-filled! 🏅) time with SoundHouse quartet, gaining lifelong besties along the way. She’s coached, choreographed and now gets to do a bit of arm-waving with STS! 😂 What a journey — and what a hobby!

🌟 Sarah started barbershop at the young age of just 15 and went on to win a quartet gold with Miss Demeanour! 🥇

🌟 Sam & Kathryn began their barbershop journeys singing together in a chorus — and their paths have continued through the years. 💕🎶

🌟 Chris brings experience from singing with both Amber Valley and The Sheriff’s Ladies, adding another chapter to her barbershop story.

🌟 Alyson has been part of the barbershop family since the 1990s, singing in a variety of quartets and choruses with both Sing United and LABBS. That’s some serious barbershop history! 🎶

🌟 Sue has also been singing barbershop since the 1990s, enjoying singing with Crystal Chords, Cheshire Acapella and Six Town Sound! ❤️🎵

From Germany to the UK, from quartets to choruses, from medals and coaching to friendships that last a lifetime — every singer has their own story.

And that’s what makes Six Town Sound so special 🧡

Here’s to 50 years of LABBS — and all the singers, friendships, memories and harmonies that have made it what it is today.

What an AMAZING weekend at our very first Six Town Harmony Camp! 🎶⛺🔥💜

From sunshine and stunning countryside to campfires, pizza, Amanda’s chips, marshmallows, charades, hiking, quizzing and a little singing, we packed so much fun into one weekend!

There was something very special about spending time together away from the rehearsal room — making memories, strengthening friendships and, of course, creating a fair bit of noise along the way! 😂🎵

A huge thank you to everyone who made our Six Town Harmony Camp such a brilliant weekend including our children, partners and friends who also joined us. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 💜

🎶 What a great rehearsal we had last night! 🎶

We welcomed Billie to Six Town Sound as our latest new member! 💕 Then we limbered up and got stuck into some serious work on our contest songs and performance. 🎵✨

Lots of singing, lots of energy and plenty of laughs along the way! We’re working hard and getting excited for what’s ahead… 💪🎶
