A little late I know! I hope you are all having a lovely Easter, and are enjoying a well deserved break!
We are expecting warmer Weather next week in sunny Manchester! I hope it’s nice and warm wherever you are in the UK.
Here is a taste of what’s to come as we head towards Spring and Summer (hopefully). My painting ‘Meadow Flowers’ available as giclée art prints, and greetings cards yet to be added to my Etsy shop.
To everyone who has given up something they love for lent, I hope you are enjoying a feast and reward for your incredible sacrifice.
It’s such a special time of year, my Dad used to take us to church on Easter Sunday, and I remember the church bells ringing, I was absolutely petrified of church bells as a child, but now I love them. You don’t hear them very much these days.
I also love Easter Sunday, and so happy that all the retail workers get a day off to spend with their families. I used to work in retail as a Customer Service advisor, and I understand the hardship of working on a special day when you really should be celebrating with your family.

The algorithms of FB have changed so much, and they are strangling small businesses like mine (I’m not alone!)
My Etsy shop too is struggling, many of artists are experiencing this too. The awful wars and cost of living are hitting all us creatives hard. I just hope the world can find peace, and the destruction of lives, homes and livelihood’s cease soon.
Sorry for war and peace, I will be creating more art, I have had a little absence due to various personal reasons, but I’m back and exploring more techniques and creating lots more art. 🎨
