Hot take from me on the current state of the music "Industry"

So here's a look back at my first full year owning my own studio.

It's been a blast. Tough but still in love with it.

From hosting rehearsals for bands such as;

Playing host to .mcr and seeing their progression from the opening party back in May to live streaming their end of year party at . Looking forward to seeing what they get up to next year. Check out their regular live streams from the DJ booth here at the studio

Recording has begun to pick up, even though I'm starting with zero reputation (I've been recording music since I was around 5 (38 years ago) but never within "the industry").

Recording, mixing & mastering for the likes of;












I've also got deeper into live sound having worked for amongst others. Most notably being roped in from the audience to sort out the old abbey tap's closing show when the guy they hired went missing mid show.

I've also tried to attend more live shows, and have been especially enjoying the Jams such as jam, and am chuffed at the return of 's refried beats at

Anyway. I've spent long enough on a Sunday d!cking around with social media so see you in 2026.
