It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear choir member, Elaine Holland.

After a period of illness, Elaine passed away leaving behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, friendship, and a love of music that touched us all. She was a much-loved and treasured member of our choir family, and her presence, laughter, and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Our rehearsals and performances will not be the same without her, but we are grateful for the many wonderful memories we shared together and for the joy she brought to our choir community.

At this difficult time, we send our heartfelt condolences, love, and support to her family, friends, and her beloved Prince. Our thoughts are with them as they navigate the days ahead.

Rest in peace, dear Elaine ❤️

Fantastic singing tonight! 🎶 We spent lots of time working together as a group, getting everything ready for our upcoming concert in July—and it’s all starting to come together beautifully.

Now we’d love to hear from you: what songs do you love hearing performed live? Any suggestions for us to try? 👀

We’re also excited to announce a new addition to our repertoire for next week’s Free Choice Tuesday: Fast Car, chosen by choir member Mads. We can’t wait to bring this one to life!

So, summer seems to be officially over 🌧 but it is not all doom and gloom...because Rock Up 2 Sing are BACK after summer break!

What a fantastic sing tonight, full of high energy songs, power hits and a fair bit of chatter as everyone caught up on summer news 🤣

And we also welcomed two lovely new members 😃 as well as a surprise return 😀

Thank you so much to Caroline Munroe for donating some brand new books for my school library. Also thank you to Jean Llewellyn and Elaine Holland for your very kind donations. If anyone has any children s books aged 7-16 that they no longer need would you kindly donate them to me. We are setting up a reading zone at my new school so my lovely pupils can fall in love with reading in their social times. Any donations would be very much appreciated and I am happy to collect.
