Let's Paint ππ¨ - Working on some new earrings and playing around with some paint techniques. So to start with I knew that I wanted a tiered design, focusing on a hexagon shape. Slightly doming the metal to give a little more depth to them. Once finished filing, sanding and polishing I was ready to paint them, the paint I used was Pebeo texture paints suitable for metal surfaces. Worked on a few samples first to see what colour combinations and paint techniques worked well together, finally settling on several final designs with three colours on each pair. Paint onto each shape in a tiered layered pattern and let them settle slightly before using a cocktail stick to swirl and blend the colours to create a sort of marbled effect.
