Thursday night gaming, anyone?!

We hosted our first club night last night and are keen to see if this is something we could do on a regular basis.

If you fancy heading to Stockport on a Thursday evening for some wargaming and good company (and a cool space in both senses of the word) book a table with us for next week.

The Golden Hall has been asked to open it's doors this Thursday for a night of casual gaming... and we've said yes!

Carparking is free on location and if full, there are plenty of free parking bays a 30 second walk away on West Street and Albert Street, both just off the Brinksway as you head from Stockport Pyramid towards to the town centre.

There is a tuck shop with a selection of warm and cold drinks plus snacks so please refrain from bringing your own and help support Golden Hall.

Thursday is completely FREE to book a space and see what we've started.

** we are JUST beginning this bold adventure and whilst we have 4x4 mats aplenty and an overabundance of fantasy, medieval, Middle-earth inspired terrain, we're working on getting some momentum to have the same levels for systems that have alternate needs. Work with us, show us your appetite to join us on that journey and our first focus is to reinvest and make the Golden Hall perfectly suited to all our communities 🙌🏻

This weekend we went a ran our very first event at our BRAND SPANKING NEW gaming centre, Golden Hall Gaming!

We welcomed a whole bunch of friends, family, local players, well wishers and hobby heroes from near and far to come and join us for a super casual Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game tournament and couldn’t have imagined a better way to christen our new centre, which may just be a little bit influenced by Middle Earth!

From initial conversations between James (ArdaCon: SBG International) and myself around 18 months ago, to finally bringing our vision to fruition over the last few weeks is just the most INCREDIBLE feeling. 13 year old me would be amazed (and maybe just a bit proud!) at what we have accomplished!

For now we will be open for events only (which I’ll post up links to here) so if you want to come down and experience Golden Hall Gaming keep your eyes peeled and we would LOVE to welcome you 😊

A huge thanks to everyone who came to our event and anyone who has supported us in getting the centre to where it is now.

And YES, there WILL be a video on how we created it (along with all of the trials and tribulations that went along with it 😅) coming to the channel very soon.

It’s been a while since I posted here, but it doesn’t mean I’ve not been busy…

It’s been a bit of a secret project I’ve been working on for almost a year at this point and we’re now almost ready to launch!
