If you think Girl Power started and ended with The Spice Girls, then think again! Today very few performers exemplify the concept of female empowerment and confidence more than Roswell Road. Just listen to the lyrics of 'Can't Take My Soul': https://youtu.be/2jyP6ORToQ4?si=cMk0BVDZem3_j0uL.

The duo draws on Americana and folk music, but with a vibrant, rebelliously joyful energy that sets their sound apart. Critics and fans frequently praise their musical chemistry and harmony-infused sound, with their voices weaving around each other in intricate patterns.

Their songs feature honest, story-driven lyrics that address real-life experiences, including mental health, love, and the adventures of these genuine activists. Their musical style has drawn comparisons to bands like First Aid Kit, Fleetwood Mac and the Indigo Girls.

Coming to the Somborne Sessions this month, ROSWELL ROAD are a fabulous duo – Jasmine Watkiss and Zoe Wren. The London-based duo’s multi-instrumental harmony-infused sound have likened them to Fleetwood Mac and The Indigo Girls. As well as UK gigs, the duo have toured France and Germany and appeared at the Folk Alliance International in Montreal. They are currently working on their debut album with acclaimed songwriters and producers The Dunwells (who performed at a recent Somborne Sessions).
