ENTRIES CLOSE MONDAY, 7th SEPTEMBER 2026 @ Midnight.
Event 1. Ratings 32 & up – Higher Ratings Race Saturday, Lower Ratings Race Sunday
Entries split over 2 days. If there is a odd number of heats after race split, the higher number of heats with the higher rating horses will race on the Saturday and lower number of heats with lower ratings horses will race on the Sunday. All heats and finals raced over 1 mile.
Heats preferred if within 30pts. Finals 10pts = 10yds.

Event 2. Saturday - SHRC 2yo FUTURITY – Separate Colts & Fillies Divisions. 1 Mile.
Only for 2yo that have paid first nomination & sustaining fees
Horses must be entered to declare their intention to run
Last payment due on race day - £50
Fillies Purse - £1,750 + race day entry fees
Colts Purse - £1,300 + race day entry fess
Event 3. Maiden Class Races. 1 Mile
For horses with no lifetime wins
Horses will be split for owners then trainers, where possible.

For horses with 1 or more lifetime win
Novice horses will be split for owners then trainers, where possible

For horses that haven’t won in their last 5 starts. Minimum of 6 entries
Races will be run in lines. 10pts for each line.

Event 6. Saturday - C Class Drivers Pace – Horses Rating 32 & up. 1 Mile

Event 7. Sunday - STAGBI 3yo CHAMPIONSHIP RACES ~ Separate Colts & Fillies Divisions. 1 Mile
Owners must be current STAGBI Members. Eligible horses to be sired by a STAGBI registered stallion standing in Great Britain or Northern Ireland at time of breeding. Gate position determined by BHRC Rating, preferred draw. Full list of entry conditions on STAGBI Website.
Entry - £100. Minimum 2 entries per division.

Event 8. Pony Exhibition Race – state Saturday or Sunday or both days when entering. (BHRC have to check flu vacs).
Event 9. Trotting Race – enter via TROTBritain (If sufficient entries).
Event 10. Sunday - AULD(er) YINS EXHIBITION – details will be in a separate post (don't have to enter via BHRC)
