Which is terrible timing, because our camels are currently halfway through their annual moult and looking unbelievably scruffy! 😅

Camels grow a thick winter coat to cope with freezing temperatures, then shed it when summer arrives.

So if you're wondering why they look like they've lost an argument with a hedge trimmer, don't worry – it's completely normal. ✂

Think you could identify a rhino hoof, a giraffe skull or a mystery pile of dung? You might be about to find out… 👀

Join us for Ungulate Day this Saturday, where we’ll be celebrating some of the park’s most fascinating hoofed animals with a range of hands-on activities for all ages.

Get up close to real animal skulls, horns and hooves, put your wildlife knowledge to the test, and learn more about the ungulate species that call Blair Drummond home.

We’ll also be running a tombola with some fantastic prizes up for grabs - including the chance to meet some of our Pets’ Farm ungulates in an exclusive on-the-day experience. All proceeds will support our Link to the Wild conservation partners.

Karsa is on a mischief mission again 🐒🌳

She’s full of energy, always exploring, always climbing, always jumping - sometimes to the quiet frustration of a few of the more laid-back chimps in the group. 😅

But in a habitat like this, that’s exactly the point. The trees and shrubs give her space to be herself, to move, to climb, and to keep life interesting for everyone around her. 🌿
