Between our Choreography Competition and Grandma DC’s Big Birthday Tea, we were able to donate £735.59 to Strathcarron Hospice.

Strathcarron recently has been a great support to some of our Dance Connection families, so we’re pleased to be able to give a little something back.

💜 Good Luck, Miss Grace! 🇺🇸

It’s kind of crept up on me that Miss Grace is heading off to Camp America for three months.

With all the excitement and busyness of the show, I’ve almost managed to avoid thinking about it, but yesterday was her last day with us before she sets off on her adventure.

We are so incredibly proud of her. Grace has grown up at Dance Connection and has become such a valued member of our team. She is kind, caring, hardworking and always goes above and beyond for our dancers. The children absolutely adore her, as these photos show! 💜

We know the children at camp are going to be very lucky to have her, and we can’t wait to hear all about her adventures over the summer.

Wishing you the most amazing experience, Grace. Enjoy every second, make memories that will last a lifetime, and know that we’ll all be cheering you on from Scotland.

✨Our ‘Tails From The Stage’ dance show was an animal-tastic weekend but it would not have been possible without our DC Community behind us and so we thank you!✨
The energy, love, support and community effort buzzing throughout the theatre was unmatched and that’s what makes our school so special.

It’s nearly time! 💜

Taking 10 minutes now to get organised can make show day much less stressful for everyone.

Here’s a quick checklist:

✅ Dance bag or costume carrier
✅ Costumes
✅ Shoes (all clearly labelled)
✅ Socks & tights
✅ Hair done for dress rehearsal and show day, with extra kirbys and hairspray packed just in case
✅ A zip-up hoodie, dressing gown or something similar to wear over costumes
✅ P1–P3 ballet dancers: something comfy to change into afterwards as costumes will stay at the theatre
✅ A small nut-free snack (P1–P3)
✅ Any inhalers or medication
✅ And most importantly… your biggest smile! 😁

We can’t wait to see everyone at the theatre. You’ve all worked so hard and it’s going to be a fantastic weekend! 🌟💜
