The GOSSIP Collective presents,‘Golden Repair’ explores how we move forward when things happen in our lives, both personally, and collectively-as a community.

Celebrating imperfection through a starting point of Kintsugi—the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold—the exhibition brings fragments back together, creating harmony and balance while honouring the unique stories within each object and artwork.

Join us this Saturday, 20th June, to meet some of the artists behind the exhibition and discover more about their work.

With a fascinating starting point of Kintsugi—the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold, Artists featured in The GOSSIP Collective presents 'Golden Repair', have drawn on themes of community, belonging and balance to respond creatively.

A multidisciplinary exhibition, featuring textiles, painting, film and printmaking, ‘Golden Repair’ seeks to explore and create a dialogue with the audience about how we move forwards when things happen in our lives, both personally, and collectively-as a community. Celebrating imperfection, bringing fragments back together and bringing a harmony and balance to objects and artworks in a way that celebrates their stories.

Meet the artists behind 'Golden Repair' in the Gallery this Saturday 20th June, 1pm-3pm.

Jill Furmanovsky at the Stirling Photography Festival

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome multi-Award-winning photographer Jill Furmanovsky to exhibit at Tolbooth as part of this year’s Stirling Photography Festival. Brought to us by Street Level Photoworks of Glasgow, we will enjoy a specially curated selection of Jill’s work documenting the shifting tides of music in the form of punk, new wave, reggae, soul, genre-spanning pop of the 80’s and Britpop in the 90s.

Having shot some of the biggest bands in rock history, Jill wanted to make her work, and that of other music photographers, more accessible to fans, and in 1998 she established Rock Archive - from where the work in this exhibition is drawn.

Jill has exhibited all over the world, and we are honoured to have her exhibit here in Stirling with our partner Tolbooth Gallery. The exhibition commences 14th August and runs until 26th September, 2026.
