What a fantastic first night we had! A brilliant performance by local band Saltfire followed by a hilarious one-act comedy. The audience were on form and laughter filled the Beeding & Bramber Village Hall.

We can't wait to do it all again this afternoon!

The wait is over... tonight’s the night.

A huge thank you to everyone who has bought tickets and supported your local theatre group. Your support means a great deal to us—and keeps us from having to perform in a garage with a single working spotlight and a very confused cat.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you for what promises to be an evening of entertainment and laughter.

Cathy Robinson plays DETECTIVE INSPECTOR SAM PEMBERTON

Every good murder mystery needs a detective... and Detective Inspector Sam Pemberton is determined to get to the bottom of this one.

Calm under pressure, observant and armed with a dry sense of humour, Pemberton carefully questions the suspects, examines the evidence and refuses to be distracted by the colourful personalities of the Upper Bramber Amateur Dramatic Society.

As secrets emerge and alibis begin to unravel, will she uncover the truth before the final curtain falls?

CHARACTER REVEAL!

Steve Fuggles plays BERNARD

He's the group's practical man. Bernard only joined to build the sets, but thanks to a shortage of willing actors, he's found himself centre stage instead.

After a few small roles, he's discovered he rather enjoys the spotlight—and isn't above milking a laugh or two. Down-to-earth, quick-witted and armed with plenty of dry humour, Bernard has little patience for theatrical egos and can't understand why everyone makes such a fuss over amateur dramatics. As rehearsals descend into glorious chaos, his common sense is tested to the limit… with hilarious results.

Come and see whether Bernard can keep the production on track—or if the drama behind the scenes proves even more entertaining than the play itself!

Saturday Night is SOLD OUT!

What an incredible response – thank you! Our Saturday evening performance of Murder in Upper Bramber has now sold out. We may however, be able to offer some tickets on the door and will provide a further update on this soon.
