Entertainment is critical to the success of your party, I know how special your event is to you, my primary aim is to make sure that you and your guests have an enjoyable event. I'm happy to personally meet with you in advance to discuss the finer details of your event. This includes timings, type of music to play, type of music to avoid, first dance, dinner music & ceremony music where applicable
. I have a large and ever growing music collection. I regularly buy or download from two of the main sites which supply mobile DJ's with music in the UK. My collection is always up to date with the latest chart music and many of the tracks which haven't reached the charts yet. My collection consists of tracks from the 50's to the present day. Not only can you request a specific genre of music, you are welcome to build your own playlist from my extensive range of music in advance. It may not be practical to play your playlist in order, but I can use it as a base and keep the dance floor busy. I'm happy to have requests thrown at me all night long and will endeavor to play them all with your permission of course. I'm happy to make announcements for you but apart from that I'm fairly unobtrusive and don't talk over the music all night. I'll make every effort to look the part, you don't want your wedding DJ to turn up wearing jeans and t-shirt. Great sound and lighting gives your event a professional touch. I spend a lot of time looking for great lighting effects, I use state of the art equipment. I have a large selection of lights to help illuminate your dance floor and build the perfect party atmosphere. Fog / Haze machines are used where possible to enhance the atmosphere, although it is important to note that some venues do not allow the use of them. Many of my lights are intelligent lights which are pre programmed and controlled with a DMX controller. I mainly purchase lights which have powerful 250 watt bulbs, although I'm not a great fan of the newer LED lights, they are getting better and I do have a few. I may use laser lights and strobe effects. My smallest sound system is 900 watts - I can increase this to 3700 watts for larger venues. This will comfortably work for a few hundred people. I consider myself to be a very punctual person and am very rarely too sick to work, however you never know whats round the corner. In the unlikely event that I cannot make it to your event I have arrangements with other DJ's who I have personally selected to fill in for me. I carry backup equipment in case of failure. All my equipment is regularly PAT tested for safety. With years of experience, I can help make your party rock!
