💜 A Decade of Emerald! 💜
Yesterday's show marked 10 years of Emerald Dance Academy and what a special celebration it was!
In the excitement of the day, I didn't get the chance to say everything I wanted to say, and some of you will know I don’t like public speaking! 😂
Looking back over the last decade, I am extremely grateful for every student, parent, teacher, supporter, and friend who has been part of this journey.
One of the things that makes me most proud is seeing dancers who joined us as tiny 3 or 4 year olds still dancing with us 10 years later.
Some of the children who started dancing with us in our very first years are now teenagers, and it has been a privilege to watch them grow, not just as dancers, but as confident, kind and talented young people.
Yesterday's show wasn't just about celebrating a milestone. It was about celebrating every friendship made, every challenge overcome, every achievement, every performance, and every child who has found a place to belong within our dance family.
Yesterday was more than a show, it was a celebration of 10 incredible years, and I couldn't be prouder.
Here's to the memories we've made and the many more still to come. ❤️
