Dropped 4 stone in 10 weeks. Ethan, 62. Still drinking my pints.

At 62, carrying this weight was becoming dangerous. My stomach felt like a lead weight. Bending over cut off my wind. Hills were impossible. My hips hurt from the moment I woke up. My GP warned me: "This visceral fat is a silent killer."

I tried dieting. I tried cutting carbs. I was miserable and hungry. But I refused to give up my evenings at the local. Life’s too short. The belly stayed put.

Then a friend recommended a new approach. He claimed I could fix my slow metabolism without giving up alcohol. I thought it was rubbish. Then I tried it.

Week 3: Energy levels shot up.

Week 6: Belt went in three notches.

Week 9: The dense stomach softened and shrank.

Week 10: Down 4 stone.

I drink as much beer as I want, and the weight stays off.

My doctor simply said: "Stick with it."

I will add the article in the top comment — read it before it’s taken down.

–3 stone in 10 weeks. Ethan, 61, form Glasgow. The best bit? The beer stayed.

I honestly thought my "beer gut" was permanent. It felt dense, hard, and immovable. Just sitting in the car felt uncomfortable. Bending over compressed my chest so much I couldn't breathe. My hips were constantly aching.

My doctor didn't sugarcoat it. He explained that visceral fat is the dangerous stuff that wraps around your organs. He told me if I didn't shift it, I was heading for serious trouble.

I’d exhausted every option: Dry Januarys, starving myself, walking until my feet bled. Nothing worked.

Then an old mate from the pub walked in looking half the man he used to be. He shared a method that targets the metabolism, not the calories. I laughed. "Does it work with a pint in hand?" I asked. He said yes.

I gave it a go.

After 3 weeks: I felt lighter.

After 6 weeks: Clothes loosened significantly.

After 9 weeks: The gut vanished.

After 10 weeks: 3 stone lost.

And yes, I still enjoy my beer exactly as much as before.

My GP said: "I’ve never seen results like this. Keep going."

Article is in the first comment. Cheers!

At 61, I lost 4 stone in 10 weeks. Ethan from Birmingham here — and I didn't pour a single pint down the sink.

My stomach felt like a concrete block. It was solid and heavy. Bending down to put my shoes on left me gasping for air. Walking up a slight hill made my hips agony. I felt old, slow, and breathless.

My GP gave me a stark warning: "Ethan, this visceral fat is crushing your organs. At 61, you are playing Russian roulette with your heart."

I’d tried the lot: Cabbage soup diets, fasting, gym memberships I never used. They all meant one thing: misery and no booze. I wasn't prepared to live like a monk. So the belly stayed.

Then a former work colleague — a bloke who always enjoyed a drink — showed up looking 10 years younger. He told me his secret. I was sceptical when he said, "You don't have to stop drinking." But I tried it.

Week 3: My breathing improved.

Week 6: My trousers were sliding down.

Week 9: The hard "barrel" collapsed.

Week 10: 4 stone gone.

The honest truth? I still drink as much beer as I want. I haven't cut back at all.

My GP was floored: "Whatever this is, stick with it."

I’ve posted the link in the comments below. Worth a read.

–3 stone in 10 weeks — Ethan, 56, from Leeds. The best part? I didn't have to give up the booze.

My stomach used to feel like a solid keg weighing me down. Bending over to tie my boots crushed my lungs. Inclines were a nightmare. I even stopped walking down to the local pub with my mates because I couldn’t handle the walk and the breathlessness. My hips screamed every time I moved.

My GP didn't mince words. He warned me that this visceral fat was placing dangerous pressure on my organs. He said men my age drop down dead from this quiet killer.

I’d tried it all: Starving myself, dry months, gym memberships, keto. Nothing worked.

Then a former workmate turned up looking half the size he used to be. He told me what finally worked. I was sceptical — especially when he said I didn't have to stop drinking. But I tried it.

After 3 weeks: I felt lighter and had more energy.

After 6 weeks: My belt needed new holes.

After 9 weeks: The beer gut had collapsed.

After 10 weeks: I was down 3 stone.

And the truth is, I still drink as much beer as I fancy. I haven't cut back on the pints at all.

My GP was stunned: "Whatever you're doing, stick with it."

I’ve put the article in the first comment. Cheers!
