BIG LUNCHES ARE GO!
We are more than excited to announce the dates for the next Big Lunch events across Thurrock! The events have grown year-on-year from just a few hundred people in 2023 to thousands in 2025.
Some even outgrew the original parks we started in, so we're focusing on five main events this year so they can stay safe and enjoyable for everyone. Here are the dates:
Thu 23 July - East Tilbury - Gobions Park
Tue 28 July - South Ockendon - Dilkes Park
Wed 5 Aug - Chadwell St. Mary - Pyramid Resource Centre, Heath Field
Tues 11 Aug - Corringham - Corringham Town Park
Mon 17 Aug - Blackshots - Impulse Leisure
All the action will be running 12.00 noon - 4.00pm with all the activities you’ve come to know and love - creative activities, performances, workshops, sports, games, physical activities and more!

And, just so you know, we'll still be supporting residents in Aveley and Purfleet-on-Thames with their own smaller events this year, too - more on that as plans come together. And of course, we'll be bringing our usual creative flair to Tilbury's Picnic In The Park which is set to be as brilliant as ever - wow, so much going on!
