First school run in 6 weeks and would you LOOK at me… feeling better already, skin glowing, nervous system healing 🤣✨

Turns out all I needed was a 9am drop off and six hours of nobody asking me for a snack.

This back to school feels a little different ❤️

I closed the shop at the end of June and I don’t think I realised until I stepped away just how constricted life had become.

Everything revolved around opening hours, being somewhere, getting back somewhere, fitting life into the gaps. And then suddenly… summer.

For the first time in a long time, life felt slower. We had days together, went on adventures, made plans without constantly checking the clock and I think my nervous system finally had the rest it had been asking for.

It’s made me realise just how much I needed to change things.

But now P is heading back to school, I’m actually really excited for the routine again. For her to start her next little chapter and for me to start mine too.

Because closing the shop was never about giving up on the business. It was about giving it space to become something different.

I’m not entirely sure what that looks like yet… and for once, I think I’m okay with that.

Summer was for slowing down, being together and resetting.

September feels like it’s time to see what this business might become. ❤️

📚✨ A little something in honour of Dolly 🤠

The world said goodbye to the incredible Dolly Parton ❤️ But what a legacy she leaves behind, not only through her music, but through the millions of little imaginations she helped to grow.

Dolly founded the Imagination Library with a simple belief that every child should have access to books and the chance to dream BIG. 📚✨ A legacy that will continue long after her.

So, in her memory, I’ve reduced my Super Kids Club book to just 50p + postage.

A little book full of creativity, activities and imagination, because encouraging children to create, dream and believe they can do anything feels like a pretty lovely way to remember her. 🌈

Here’s to keeping little imaginations BIG. ❤️
