Come along for a chance to see my drawing ‘The Truth’ in person alongside many other amazing works of art at Mall Galleries London. Founded in 1919, the Society of Graphic Fine Art promotes fine drawing skills in both traditional and contemporary media. Today there are more than 160 elected members of the SGFA across the UK — professional artists from all areas of the art world who work in all drawing and printmaking media.

Untiled (as yet) drawing update: approaching the finishing line but who knows where it stops? One of the most difficult things as an artist is knowing when a piece is completed. The paper I used was Strathmore Bristol 500 plate surface and I don't think I'll use it again, it's so smooth it's like drawing on plastic, very labour intensive. Also l've used just about every brand of pencil under the sun on this paper to try and find the one that works best on its 'slippy' surface, Derwent and Caran D'Ache were the best with a Faber Castell black for the darkest areas. Feeling slightly elated that's it's nearly finished!

I’m very late in announcing this but I was delighted to receive The Derwent Special Commendation Award for my drawing, String Theory back in June when I was fortunate enough to exhibit at the Society of Women Artists 163rd Annual Exhibition at Mall Galleries, London.
