Founded by friends Matt Ireland & David Whitehouse, Mad Audio was born for a love of live music and an understanding of what a good sound brings to a band. As musicians we've played and worked together for many years and have jointly taken the role of sound engineer for many bands, now with more time on our hands and a passi

on for live sound, we wanted to bring our expertise to the local music scene, offering to help bands and venues showcase live music in its best light. Over the years the PA and sound of bands has just been thrown together and a lucky band member (or Unlucky) is tasked with becoming the sound engineer, often effecting there playing or not being able dedicating the effort needed to produce a good sound and adjust during the performance - The sound and balance can make a great band sound epic or a good band sound great - Thats where we come in, we're here to help remove the hassle and allow you to focus on your playing and well do the rest!

The Mad Audio boys had a little work trip out to the very sunny, hot and lovely The Maltings, Ely riverside to support Led Free and Co. with audio for We Love Concerts. An incredible band who did the songs justice and was a pleasure to work with and mix. Ian’s got an incredible voice and fronts the band so well - I hope our paths cross again, in the meantime here’s a few pics and clips!

The Mad Audio Boys are enjoying doing nothing today after a 2 day festival at Lazy Crow, looking after the tipi stage and supplying lighting for the main stage!

Massive thanks to the bands and acts on our stage, it was a pleasure mixing you all and hopefully our paths will cross again! Charity Stow Music Rob Lynch Govannen, OPAQUE, Laurie Wright 3head and a personal highlight for us supporting the mighty Mr Griff creating a great atmosphere and an epic headlining set!

Also big thanks to Colin CWS Sound & Lighting Ltd for supply power and staging as well as a host other other stuff - hope to work you again soon!

And of course our partner in crime Graham Stamford Sound Hire - bring on the next one!

And of course massive shout out to Steve and the crew - who we couldn’t do it without!

We’ve been a bit s**t at posting recently - too busy mixing, but last night was a new one for us, helping The Jive Aces put on a show out at Market Rasen Festival Hall. They put on a great show and were great to work with, hopefully our paths will cross again, thanks to the band and all the support staff!

Also it was great to see people dressed up and dancing all night - live music at its best!
