🎄✨ Better late than never… Christmas has finally arrived at the Stamford Lights ✨🎄

Yes, it’s mid-December. Yes, we’re only just switching the lights on after fixing some wonky snowflakes. Yes, we had Halloween decs up until yesterday. But honestly? That just means we’re diving straight into peak Christmas. 🎅

The Stamford Christmas Lights start tonight at 150 Empingham Road, glowing every evening from 5–7pm. Festive music will be playing throughout, with the lights shining away the whole time. No rush, no start times. Just wander past, pause for a bit, and soak it in.

✨ New this year: there’s a jukebox, so you can choose your own Christmas song while you’re here. Details on how to use it are on the sign outside the house. Pick a classic. Pick a banger. Pick something chaotic.

It’s cosy, calm, and unapologetically Christmassy. Perfect for evening walks, excitable kids, or anyone who needs a last-minute boost of festive spirit. ✨🎶

Come when you like. Stay as long as you like.

💀🎃 That’s a Wrap, Stamford! 🎃💀

And just like that, the Stamford Halloween Lightshow 2025 has come to an end!
Five nights of flashing lights, bad puns, and one very dramatic talking Christmas Tree - all powered by your cheers (and a few extension leads). ⚡

Huge thanks to everyone who came, danced, laughed, and donated - you made it our biggest and best show yet. 🌟

The Skull’s heading back to his coffin for a well-earned rest… but don’t get too comfy - the next time these lights shine, it’ll be Christmas! 🎄

🎃 Opening Night Was a Hit! 🎃

Huge thanks to everyone who came out for the first night of the Stamford Halloween Lightshow! 💀✨ The Skull behaved (mostly) and the crowd was amazing.

We did hear your feedback that the audio was a bit quiet - so we’ve gone full mad scientist and added 4 new speakers and a new amp! It should now be loud enough to wake the dead (and maybe the neighbours). 🧟‍♂️🔊

Oh, and we’ve also added a new surprise song to the lineup - you’ll have to come see which one it is…

But heads up, CityFibre have dug up part of Empingham Road, right near the show location.

Please take extra care walking up and down the pavement, especially in the dark. Bring a torch if you can, and keep an eye on little monsters’ feet. 👣🎃

Our talking Skull is back — and this year, he’s got company. 🎄 A certain over-eager Christmas Tree has crashed the party! Expect puns, mischief, and a musical showdown between spooky and sparkly.
