Great to spend time with a living legend Sir Ian McKellan, a lot of you know him as Gandalf from Lord of the Rings or Magneto from X-Men.

With all the charitable work he does he was delighted to hear about my own passion project of regenerating and restoring the Metro Majestic Cinema in Ashton to bring it back into use as a community hub. He actually knows the area well being from Bolton, and you may just see Sir Ian make an appearance there!
