A HUGE shout out to Stalbridge Community Shop, its volunteers, organisers and shoppers, for our brand spanking new twin freezers here at the Gugg larder. Our donated ex-pub chest freezer finally gave out in the hot-spell and they stepped in to sort it

Afternoon all, unfortunately there is no larder tomorrow or Saturday, as the fridges are all suffering in the heat, like the rest of us, both here and at the depot. We’ll be back next week as usual

Calling all space engineers! Ahead of next bank holiday Monday how about joining in and building your own spaceship! Send us a pic of your entry or simply give us a heads up of where it is. Director will be selecting the winner on Saturday May 23rd!

We are very sad to announce the passing of the wonderful Isabel de Pelet, yesterday, at home with her family around her. Isabel started Guggleton nearly 30 years ago, she worked tirelessly within the community both to support young artists and to encourage artistic pursuit in all ages. She established a Young Artist of the Year Award that helped to launch many an artistic career. She was always a great supporter of the CIC that grew out of the foundations that she built. Our thoughts are with her family. She was a personal inspiration, had a great laugh, a warm personality and a big heart. She will be greatly missed by us all. R.I.P.

Shout out about the happening next Bank Holiday Monday at Stalbridge Recreation Ground we are looking for a volunteer to drive a minibus in the morning and evening to ensure accessibility for those arriving by train at Templecombe and who may have difficulty walking Barrow Hill from the town. We are also on the look out to borrow a Chesterfield sofa for the day… but we promise not to chase it around the galaxy…Please DM here if you can help!
