✨ HarrietHolly update (aka: why I’ve vanished like your motivation on a Monday) ✨
So… I’ve been a bit quiet on here since December. And by “a bit,” I mean like I fell off the face of the earth.
Since January it’s been absolute chaos: I went back to my day job after maternity leave, my little boy started nursery (which is basically a subscription service for germs), and we’ve caught every illness known to mankind. Honestly, if there’s a bug going, we’ve hosted it. Weekly. Daily. Hourly. Possibly even by the minute.
On top of that, we’ve moved in with parents so we can start a pretty massive house renovation… because clearly I enjoy making life as calm and relaxing as possible 🙃 All this with a 1-year-old, who, for the record, does not believe in sleep or sitting still. Ever.
HarrietHolly has always been my baby (well… one of them), and it’s never been a “quick print and done” situation. I pour a lot of time, love, and probably unnecessary levels of perfectionism into it. And right now, time is… not on my side. I don’t want to do things half-heartedly or let the quality slip just because life is doing the absolute most.
So this is just a little note to say: I will be back… when I’m ready, slightly more sane, and hopefully living in a house that isn’t also a building site 💌
