The Queen behind our famous ELPC sweet bags 🖤🤍
This is a very different and personal post for me however, I thought it was only right that I shared the heartbreaking news with you all that my wonderful nan passed away on Wednesday afternoon, with her family by her side.
Most of you knew just how incredible she was. She wasn’t just my nan — she was my best friend. The woman who helped raise me and shaped me into the person I am today. She taught me to chase my dreams and truly believe that anything is possible.
ELPC wouldn’t be half of what it is without her constant love and support. From sharing every post, commenting, handing out leaflets, liking everything we did, to proudly telling anyone she met about what I was building… she was always there.
Even in the hardest battles she was facing, she would be so excited to help me prep for our shows and create our amazing sweet bags! Those moments became such special core memories for me — sitting together, chatting about everything before our big show days. She would be counting down, so excited to come and watch, always our biggest supporter!
No matter what she was going through, she still showed up to our shows and events with the biggest smile on her face, so proud of everything we were building!
I feel so incredibly lucky to have had such a strong, inspiring nan who loved us all so deeply. Anyone who knew her knows how proud she was and we will forever cherish that!
I will carry everything she taught me forward. I will keep going because she would never want me to stop, no matter how hard this time is. She knew how much ELPC means to me, and how much all of my students mean to me too.
Let’s keep growing ELPC. Let’s keep building the beautiful community she was so proud of. She loved hearing about every bit of progress, every show — and that won’t stop now. She was so excited to see clips of rehearsals of 9 to 5 and was so excited to see the show come together! As a community I know how hard we will work to make this show the best it can be not just for eachother but for my amazing nan!
Thank you all so much for your patience this week as we navigate such a difficult time. ELPC truly is one big family and the love, messages, flowers and cards I’ve received have been overwhelming in the most comforting way. I am so, so grateful 🤍🖤
