The Stafford Orchestra

The Stafford Orchestra Stafford's oldest orchestra providing the town with music for more than 50 years. Paul Nevins is our MD and we welcome enquiries for membership.

The Stafford Orchestra rehearses every Wednesday evening 7.30-9.30pm at St Thomas' and St Andrew's Church, Doxey. There are currently spaces in the string sections as well as places on dep lists for all sections. If you do not play but would like to support The Stafford Orchestra in another way, please feel free to contact us.

Summer Proms are nearly here! Just a few more rehearsals before our Proms concert on Wednesday 10th June: Pomp & Circumstance March no. 1 (Elgar), Ni**od (Elgar), Fantasia on British Sea Songs (arr. Henry Wood), and more ... including Siegfried Idyll (R Wagner) ... and featuring Cello Sonata V (Vivaldi) - soloist and arranger John Sadler.
