Riverside Miniature Railway CIC Riverside Miniature Railway CIC (RMR) is a community miniature railway in the heart of St Neots. We are accessible and welcome all disabilities.

Riverside Miniature Railway CIC is a community miniature railway for the pleasure of residents and visitors to St Neots, operated as a self sufficient, volunteer run, Community Interest Company. We aim to provide an opportunity for the community to get involved with an exciting local project. We welcome new volunteers of any age (under 16s must have an adult with them at all times). Whether you c

an help with gardening, DIY, engineering, or help on our running days, we'd love to hear from you. We are open every Sunday from 12-4pm and our working group is on a Wednesday morning. If you love trains, you'll be in great company and will be able to learn to drive a train, guard, operate the points, be a crossing keeper and station master.

We also have Eaton Arts Group visiting us. There will be an exhibition of paintings in a range of mediums, which you can view and buy.

🚂 Could you volunteer at Riverside Miniature Railway?

We’re looking for new volunteers to join our friendly team and help keep one of St Neots’ best-loved attractions running.

Learn new skills. Meet new people. Be part of something special.

There are lots of ways to get involved — from operating our miniature locomotives and helping passengers at the station, to maintenance, gardening and supporting special events.

There’s a fantastic atmosphere on our running days, with families enjoying their time on the railway and our volunteers helping to make their visits special.

Whether you’re a railway enthusiast, enjoy practical hands-on work, are looking for new experiences, are retired and keen to stay active, or simply want to do something different, we’d love to hear from you.

No experience is needed — just enthusiasm.

Full training will be provided.

Now's your chance!

Riverside Miniature Railway is looking for new volunteers to join our friendly team.

Whether you'd like to learn to operate our miniature trains or help behind the scenes, we'll provide all the training you need.

We're particularly looking for volunteers on:

🔧 Wednesday mornings – maintenance and site improvements.

🚂 Sundays – helping to run the railway and give visitors a great day out.

No experience needed – just enthusiasm.
