Another great session today & lovely to welcome some new faces & see our Drama Club grow! Today we moved on to hot seating. An advanced drama technique. We read ‘Not now Bernard’ and asked the children to answer questions as characters from the book. Some great & smart work produced & we concluded that Bernards Mum & Dad are not very nice at all!!
These kids surprise me every week with how far they can stretch and how creative they are.
Still 4 sessions to go before Easter if you’d like to get your child involved. 😊

🎭 Hi all, after a great couple of taster sessions we will begin our drama club from THURSDAY 23RD FEB -30TH MARCH. @ Art & Soul Cafe St Neots. (Then breaking for Easter).
For the initial 6 weeks the lessons can be paid for & joined on a weekly adhoc basis without pressure or commitment. We are keen to get the word out there to as many parents as possible & believe once children start with us they’ll want to come back! 😀

During our first taster session at Art & Soul this week it was interesting to see which activities the kids enjoyed more than others. The ‘What happened on the way to lesson?’ Task was a huge success!
The children are encouraged to use their imagination and come up with big elaborate stories about what happened on their journey in, and to be very specific with the details.
The improvisation, speed of thought and creativity in the room was really impressive to witness! (And the stories were hilarious! 😂)

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Definitely Drama Co.
An exciting new Drama Club for kids in St Neots Cambridgeshire. DDC has been set up by professional Actor Nitin Kundra who has worked extensively in British Television & Theatre for almost 20 years. The club will endeavour to nurture children’s creativity through drama games, improvisation and performance. Every child will play a big part as your young ones are encouraged to use their imagination but most importantly, have fun!
