We are seeking emerging playwrights with a solid idea and a passion to develop their craft.

Eligibility:
- a script suitable for no more than 4 actors
- the script cannot be previously produced, workshopped, or published

We are particularly looking for scripts written by Scottish women and non-binary playwrights, but we will accept submissions from all over. Your script can be any length - we're just looking for fresh ideas, fully-formed or otherwise.

We're interested in:
- love stories, particularly q***r love stories
- myths/legends/folklore adaptations
- historical retellings
- true crime
- horrors/thrillers
- comedies
- femme-revenge

'Live Borders Arts and Creativity are thrilled to be hosting Tatty Pants Theatre Co this July as they develop their work '24 Weeks' for this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival. To celebrate their residency, we have a number of events lined up including a special preview performance on Saturday 26th of July. We hope to see you there!

To help get Tatty Pants Theatre Co to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, we’re hosting a fundraising scratch night! A scratch night is a great chance to share works in progress, your latest piece or recite from others. All levels welcome, whether you've never performed before or you’re a seasoned professional. There is no pressure to perform either, feel free to just come along and enjoy!
