💖 36 YEARS. ONE EXTRAORDINARY JOURNEY. 💖
This December, we’ll be saying a very special goodbye to someone who has been at the heart of our organisation for longer than most of us can remember.
After an incredible 19 years working for JBD but 36 years as part of our family, Julie will be retiring this year. ✨
Julie isn’t simply our General Manager. She is part of the story of who we are.
She has been with us since the very beginning, helping to build, shape and nurture our organisation into the community it is today. For 19 years she has been the person behind the scenes making sure everything works, supporting our teachers and families, solving problems, keeping everyone organised and, above all, caring deeply about the people who make our community so special.
Over those 36 years as a supporter and 19 years as our General Manager, she has seen generations of dancers walk through our doors, watched them grow, celebrated their successes, supported them through their challenges and helped create countless memories along the way.
There are very few people who can say they have given 36 years of their life to one organisation — and even fewer who can say they have made such an enormous difference to it.
Julie, we simply cannot put into words how grateful we are for everything you have given to us.
Thank you for your loyalty.
Thank you for your hard work.
Thank you for your humour, your patience and your endless support.
And thank you most of all for 36 incredible years of being our Julie. ❤️
While we are incredibly sad to see you retire, we are also so excited for you to begin this next chapter and for you and Charlie to enjoy everything that retirement has to offer.
You will always be a very special part of our history, our story and our family.
We love you, Julie. Thank you for everything. ❤️
Here’s to 36 years of memories — and to making many more in the years ahead. 🥂✨
