“Luminescence” ✨
A piece inspired by finding light through darkness, per tenebras venit lux (“through darkness, light comes”).
The feminine figure reaching upward symbolises growth, healing, ascension and becoming the highest version of yourself, while the ornamental elements represent balance, spirituality and inner alignment. Everything flows upward intentionally, like stepping out of heaviness and into your own power.

This year I really want to focus on taking on bigger, more meaningful projects and creating pieces that feel personal to the client rather than just doing flash. I’d love to work closely with my clients on designs like this; whether that’s a full back piece, leg sleeve, arm project or something completely custom.

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to leave Studio M² and move forward independently.

I’ve stayed quiet and professional throughout a lot of situations behind the scenes, but I think it’s important to say that this decision didn’t come lightly. Unfortunately, I’ve been put in positions that made it very difficult for me to continue growing there, both professionally and personally. I’ve always worked incredibly hard for my clients, my reputation, and the environment I create, so being made to feel unsupported and undervalued eventually pushed me to realise I deserve better.

I don’t want negativity or drama attached to this, but I also don’t want people assuming this move is because of a lack of commitment or effort on my part, because anyone who knows me knows how much I put into my work and my clients.

So whilst I wish Studio M² well, I’m choosing to put myself first and move into bigger and better things that align with the vision I have for my future, my career, and the kind of space I want to create. 🤍

To all of my clients, thank you endlessly for sticking by me. This next chapter is going to be something really special and I can’t wait to share it with you all. ✨
