We just want to say a massive thank you to everybody who’s been in-touch with either Karl or ourselves and all the messages of support.

We would especially like to thank all the organisers for their understanding, Batemans for Bands on the Bank, the team at BID and Colin Ward at Live Promotions who organised the Bikers and Bands Day and of course Chris Martin who stepped in at exceptionally short notice to play both our slots which meant he played 3 gigs in 24 hours! Thank you so much.

Unfortunately, Karl is still in hospital on the emergency surgical ward, he’s stabilised and off a drip and we await a medical decision, but we look forward to seeing him home very soon and we are sure you’ll join us in sending our love and wishing him all the very best for a super speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹 He is very happy and grateful for the care and support he’s receiving. 🎸🎶🎤🎹🥁🦓 Zebra Band UK Karl Gernert Mark E Le Sage

We are very sorry to let you know Karl our bass player and second vocalist was rushed by ambulance to hospital, and is now on an emergency ward at Lincs County. We all wish him a speedy recovery and get well soon.

Unfortunately this means we won’t be playing at Batemans Bands on the Bank in Wainfleet today or the Bikers and Bands Day in Spalding tomorrow.

Please send him lots of Facebook get well wishes and feel free to tag us so we don’t miss them.

A huge thank you to the amazing Chris Martin who is kindly stepping in for us at both events this weekend. We know you’ll have a great time.
