This is what Tuesday nights look like for us during term-time at The Lookout in Sowerby Bridge.

We were at the final stage of gig prep here hence the black attire, we're usually a bit less formal to be fair. No dress code - just come as you are, ready to sing 🤟🎙️🎶

One thing I hear time and time again from members is that choir is their escape on a Tuesday evening. A chance to switch off, have a laugh, sing their heart out, and forget about everything else for 90 minutes.

They leave feeling rejuvenated, with a spring in their step and a song stuck in their head 🤣🎶

Here's our summer concert performance of Build Me Up Buttercup, because sometimes all you need is great music and great company.

Becoming a parent can feel like everything shifts at once. The routines, the freedom, even your sense of identity.

ParentPOP is a space to step back into something familiar while life is still very much in motion.

Led by professional singer and qualified teacher Laura Morrell (mum of two), with decades of musical experience.

Babies and toddlers are welcome in the space. They can be fed, held, bounced, or laid down with toys and sensory items while you sing - afterwards they can let loose in Little Monkeys Play Centre!

📢NEW: Introducing ParentPOP! 👶💜

I'm so excited to launch ParentPOP – a brand-new weekly pop singing group for parents, carers and their little ones.

This isn't a children's music class – it's a chance for you to enjoy singing feel-good pop songs in a relaxed, welcoming space, while your baby or toddler is free to play, watch, join in or simply have a cuddle.

I'm also delighted to be partnering with my friends at The Lookout to bring ParentPOP to the space above lovely Little Monkeys Play Centre. I used to bring my own little one here every week, and it was always such a chilled place to spend the morning. It's clean, safe, engaging and perfect for little explorers.

✨ Your ParentPOP session also includes TWO HOURS of play at Little Monkeys after the class, giving you time to chat, grab a coffee and let the little ones enjoy everything the play centre has to offer.
