Reydon and Southwold Pantomime Reydon and Southwold pantomime group is an all woman's cast who performs for hundreds each year in aid of local charities. Founded in 1981.

We write amusing pantomimes with a local comic twist
✨️ 2026 Pantomime PUSS IN BOOTS 🐈 Reydon and Southwold Pantomime Group are a local pantomime group who produce an annual pantomime which is performed at the end of January every year. The cast on stage are all female although we have many male members who help out back stage and play in the band.

We are looking for Costume storage space that will take a couple of big clothes rails and storage boxes . We unfortunately cant afford to pay but some arrangement can be made . It has to be accessible clean and dry. Roughly 10ft x 8ft ish. Needs to be local between lowestoft , beccles , southwold, halesworth , kind of in that vicinity . ✨ Happy International Women’s Day! ✨

Reydon and Southwold Pantomime Group are an all woman's cast Panto.

So today we’re celebrating the incredible women who make our pantomime magic happen both on and off the stage. From the performers who light up the stage with laughter, energy and sparkle, to the amazing women working behind the scenes with costumes, props, makeup, directing, organising and everything in between — this show simply wouldn’t happen without you. (We also thank the wonderful men who helped behind the scenes also!)

Thank you to every strong, talented and inspiring woman in our all-female cast and crew for your dedication and support.

And a huge thank you to our wonderful audiences and supporters who come along, cheer us on and help us continue raising money for our local charities. Your support means the world to us.

Here’s to women supporting women, creating theatre, making people laugh and doing something special for our community.

And so, at the end of our seaside adventure, everything turns out just as it should in Southwold.

Dame Betty Butterbuns is delighted to have her nephew Tom settled safely in town with his very special cat, Puss — now famous for his magical boots and heroic deeds.

Betty and her best friend Red, from the charity shop, can finally relax knowing the bad guys Richmond, Frank and Chip have been stopped in their tracks.

The magic ingredient has been recovered, the Ogre outwitted, and although Betty didn’t win the Bake Off (thanks to those cheeky pigs!), there were plenty of laughs along the way.

Richmond tried to steal Rosy’s prize money to build a horrible multi-storey car park.
But good always wins in pantomime! With the help of Puss’s magic, Richmond has been left bankrupt, Rosy now mayor, and the town of Southwold is saved.

And so, with friendship, laughter and a very clever cat in boots, everyone can now live happily ever after ✨
