3 weeks in and the sign is finally up , the sky and water continue to inspire and my little helper has been to visit. It really is a beautiful and peaceful spot here! I think we are settled 😍

We are one week in teaching and things are going well!! We love it. We hope you will too. Still lots to do and we are still fundraising , but we are thrilled to say we have got nearly halfway to our target and can now fund a full set of 4 community classes for the new year.
If anyone knows any local groups or charities that would benefit from pottery classes then get in touch.

We are in and open!! That was fun and harddddd work. Still plenty to do (put sign up etc!) but classes have started back and no disasters so far.
If anyone wants to come and have a go this week there are spaces Wednesday 4pm in a beginners throwing class, Thursday 4pm for a private class and Saturday 1pm for a family workshop. Check our website to book.
Still fundraising too - link in our bio.
Thank you to anyone who has helped and supported us so far , we are loving it down here.
Excuse the sound on the video - I was rambling on so thought I'd better speed it up 😂.

That's it! End of an era. We actually cleared it- that was a mission!!
It's been amazing and emotional. We have met some amazing people here and been truly integrated into the Shoreham community . It's sad to leave but Southwick is calling and our hearts are already there with the wheels and the swans. ?

What a bunch of wonderful people we have around us. This lot (and others not in the photo) were our heroes last week helping to clear 1a , pack vans and unload at the port. I can't bring myself to post the sad empty pottery photos yet...... But things are shaping up nicely at the new place.
Do book in for a class , we will be ready in time!
And support our fundraiser in our bio if you possibly can spare a few pounds

Thanks to all that have donated so far- we are so so grateful - this will really help us fund the move and we are so nearly at an amount that we can fund a full set of classes for one of our community groups!!
We have had quite the week. So many boxes, so much packing , lifting and dust and so many wonderful helpers.
The old pottery is nearly clear and we give the keys back tomorrow. The new Pottery is jam packed full of our stuff and waiting for us to start to sort it all. eek. The kilns are wired in but we have a few potential plumbing issues to contend with.
We are exhausted but must keep going- Lets see what next week brings! Still on track for opening on the 21st September. ###

What a great day!
We got the keys (thanks Jordan and Andrew Shoreham Port ), we painted the floor , we met our new neighbour and the sun came out.
It is great down here. Trying not to think about all those boxes and dust waiting for us back at New road!
