This popped up in our memories today... 😍
Throwback to 9 years ago at the very last BeachBuggin in 2017!
Back then, Coxy and Jason were the ones in the orange T-shirts, volunteering, lining up Show & Shine, judging, and even juggling it all with a baby in a carrier. The original Mini Dubber was also enjoying her very first of what would become many VW shows! 🤙🏼
They arrived in their T4, Thor, painted by Fark Fk, and entered him into Show & Shine - proof that you don’t need the shiniest van in the world to be part of the fun. 😁
You might even spot show legend Dawson G Carr helping line up Show & Shine too. Nine years later, he’s still doing it every year, and we genuinely wouldn’t be without him!
Just one year later in 2018, Team BD took over the event and rebranded it into the Beach Dubbin’ you all know and love today. Fast forward to now, and Coxy, Jason, Sue and Grant have swapped the orange for pink T-shirts, but one thing hasn’t changed - you’ll still find us out there lining up cars! 😂
It’s always been a show for enthusiasts, by enthusiasts, and somehow it just keeps getting bigger every year.
Time really does fly when you’re having fun! 😁🙌🏼
